Creamy Blue Bunny® Vanilla Premium Ice Cream sandwiched between a cherry hand pie and a blueberry hand pie, topped with whipped cream and apple compote and served with gold star sprinkles.
Ingredients
- 1 each Blueberry Hand Pie (recipe below)
- 1 #8 scoop Blue Bunny® Vanilla Ice Cream, frozen hard into ½’ circle
- 1 each Cherry Hand Pie (recipe below)
- ¼ cup Apple Compote, prepared
- ¼ cup Whipped Cream, prepared
- 1 tsp Gold Star Sprinkles
Cherry Hand Pie Ingredients
- 1 each 4” Round Crust (bottom), prepared, raw
- 1 each 4 ½” Round Crust (top), prepared, raw
- 1 tsp Egg wash
- ¼ cup Cherry Pie Filling, prepared
- 1 ½ tsp Sugar in the Raw
Blueberry Hand Pie Ingredients
- 1 each 4” Round Crust (bottom), prepared, raw
- 1 each 4 ½” Round Crust (top), prepared, raw
- 1 tsp Egg wash
- ¼ cup Blueberry Pie Filling, prepared
- 1 ½ tsp Sugar in the Raw
Instructions
- Top blueberry pie with a layer of ice cream.
- Place cherry pie on top of ice cream.
- Add apple compote on top.
- Finish with whipped cream and sprinkle with star sprinkles.
Cherry & Blueberry Hand Pie Instructions
- Place 4" round pie crust on work surface. Brush with egg wash.
- Scoop pie filling in the center and cover with 4 1/2" pie crust.
- Brush with egg wash. Crimp edges with fork. Sprinkle with sugar in the raw.
- Poke hole in the top middle for steam to escape.
- Bake at 375° for 14-16 minutes or until brown.
