Ice Cream Slices
Blue Bunny® Big Slice® Vanilla Ice Cream dipped in luscious chocolate and drizzled in any number of decadent sauces or purees. The possibilities are endless (and delicious).
Ingredients
Chocolate Berry Ice Cream Slice
- 1 Blue Bunny® Big Slice® Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 Tbsp white chocolate
- 1 Tbsp dark chocolate
- 1 Tbsp (1/2 fl. oz.) berry puree 2 blueberries plus 1 blackberry
Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Slice
- 1 Blue Bunny Big Slice® Vanilla Ice Cream
- 3 Tbsp dark chocolate
- 1 Tbsp (1/2 fl. oz.) raspberry puree 3 raspberries
Bananas Foster Macadamia Nut Ice Cream Slice
- 1 Blue Bunny Big Slice® Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/4 banana (sliced thinly)
- 3 Tbsp (1 – 1/2 fl. oz.) butter
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp chopped salted macadamia nuts
Instructions
Chocolate Berry Ice Cream Slice
- Temper white chocolate using stainless steel bowl and 2-qt pot (i.e double boiler)
- Diagonally dip half of Blue Bunny Big Slice® Vanilla Ice Cream into white chocolate
- Place on parchment lined baking sheet
- Drizzle dark chocolate over slice
- Freeze until ready to serve
- Place hot berry puree on plate next to slice
- Use fresh berries as a garnish
Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Slice
- Temper dark chocolate using stainless steel bowl and 2-qt pot (i.e double boiler)
- Dip Blue Bunny Big Slice® Vanilla Ice Cream into dark chocolate covering half the ice cream slice
- Transfer to parchment lined baking sheet and place in freezer until chocolate sets up
- When ready to serve, drizzle raspberry puree over slice and decorate with raspberries
Bananas Foster Macadamia Nut Ice Cream Slice
- Combine butter and brown sugar in sauté pan
- Heat on high for 3 minutes or until brown sugar is liquid
- Add bananas and chopped macadamia nuts
- Cook for 2 more minutes or until liquid in pot is somewhat viscous
- Place bananas foster macadamia nut mixture on plate next to ice cream slice
- Garnish with shredded toasted coconut
- Drizzle leftover sauce over Blue Bunny Big Slice® Vanilla Ice Cream.
